Trucks from from 2016-17 to choose from

The top pickup trucks, both full to mid-size, are now finding themselves more in demand as buyers want to tow, haul, and climb. These vehicles are highly configurable and it can be tough to select the version you want. Here is a list that might make that a little easier for you.

Chevrolet Colorado
The Chevrolet Colorado was upgraded in 2016, a mid-size truck that also comes in diesel. The Colorado’s small size and Duramax diesel gives it fuel efficiency. It gives 22 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway, 369 pound per feet of torque and 7,700 pounds of tow. The 2016 model has an off-road oriented Trail Boss trim and a Go crew cab with diesel.

Chevrolet Silverado
The Chevrolet Silverado was redesigned and got a new grille with LED lighting on premium models, LTZ and High Country. The Silverado was the last of the large pickup trucks to give a full-tilt luxury. In 2014, a redesign introduced the High Country trim with power retracting running boards, a 4G LTE WiFi and even wireless cell phone charging.

Ford F-150
The Ford F-Series, specifically the F-150 had minor changes made in 2016. Ford’s best-seller was a trailer backup system which made backing easy in the direction you wanted the trailer to go. It also offers a 360-degree camera system that assists you to place the truck even in tight spots. The F-150 XLT is fuel-efficient with a 2.7-liter V6 engine, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and storable loading ramps.

GMC Canyon
The GMC Canyon is similar to the Chevrolet Colorado midsize pickup truck. It has a 2.8-liter Duramax diesel engine for the 2016 model.  It has a color-matched grille in the Nightfall edition, which is not available in diesel. This truck comes nwith two-wheel drive, 18-inch chrome wheels, and a short bed. It comes with a 2.5 liter, inline 4 engine that gives 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque.

GMC Sierra
The GMC Sierra offers the upscale Denali version of the Sierra. This Sierra Elevation Edition in a pickup truck is an advantage. It inherits the looks with body-color bumpers, door handles, and mirror caps. It has an extended cab and 20-inch wheels. They have two different engine choices. One is a 4.3-liter V6 and the other 5.3-liter V8 in either two or four-wheel drive.

Honda Ridgeline
The Honda Ridgeline offers many features not found in other top pickup trucks like an open bed vehicle. It is fuel efficient and gives a car-like ride, handling, and a trunk.
