For effective treatment to avoid liver damage caused by Hepatitis C you must routinely get yourself monitored by your physician and apply the following changes to your lifestyle:

Forget alcohol, drugs, and smoking
Most of us are well aware of the fact that alcohol damages our liver and drinking alcohol can be like drinking poison during this time. You must quit drugs and if you are a smoker then you should do something about it as soon as possible. Because these habits if addictive can further lead to liver cancer.

Eat this type of food
Ensuring you eat a balanced diet can give you good results. According to your stage get the correct diet chart from your doctor. Eat little of everything like grains, proteins, low-fat dairy items, beans, lentils, vegetables, fruits, etc. Eat smaller meals rather than larger portions because then your liver would not have to work as hard. Drink at least 64 ounces of water per day. Avoid eating junk food and processed food because they have toxic chemicals which your liver might not be able to process. If you are a red meat lover then you will have to reduce its intake because red meat takes a lot of effort and time to digest. Avoid drinks which have a lot of sugar or salt. Salty foods can result in bloating which can further complicate your case.

A change in your diet may lead to substantial weight loss so in order to maintain your weight you need to take some supplements which will provide you with a lot of energy.
