5. Salty foods
Salty foods are another thing that you should avoid if you’re experiencing joint pain. Salt has been linked to inflammation and high blood pressure. In addition, it causes water retention which can lead to swelling and more pain. If your favorite snack is salty chips or pretzels, try switching to a healthier option like oven-roasted chickpeas, which are low-calorie, gluten-free and vegan.
