The current Pakistani TV shows are a far cry from the usual saas-bahu saga that once ruled the country’s television industry. Today, it’s all about quality content, a good storyline, and layered characters. The shows may not get the same limelight as other dramas across the border. But they surely appeal to the audience and keep them glued to their television sets.
Dastaan
This TV show is based on a novel by Razia Butt and is set during the country’s partition and independence. It revolves around the story of Hassan, played by Fawad Khan, and Bano, played by Sanam Baloch, who fight for their identity, honor, and dignity. Humsafar
