Pursuing higher education can be expensive. A lot of people opt to earn their master’s degree abroad. There are a number of sources available to provide financial aid to those in need for their education. There are some scholarships that can completely cover your tuition fees.

1. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program in the USA

Thr Fulbright Foreign Student Program is for foreign students who want to pursue a masters degree or a Ph.D. from universities in the United States. The scholarship is a joint program of the Government of Kosovo and the U.S. Department of State. It provides funding for the duration of the research or study. This fellowship program accepts applicants from all fields of study. It funds the tuition fee, a living stipend, textbooks, airfare, health insurance and airfare. Eligibility requirements include a completed undergraduate degree, citizenship of Kosova and/or permanent residence there, and English proficiency. Students from about 155 countries apply and about 4,000 foreign students are accepted for Fulbright scholarships every year. Applications are usually accepted from February to October.

2. Citizens Bank TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship

Citizens Bank offers a number of scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $10,000 each year to students who are enrolling in an accredited university. The program focuses on rewarding those students who have done considerable volunteer work that has made a difference. Applicants have to fill an application form with an essay or a video. Citizens Financial Group also offers the TruFit Student Loan to students who are enrolled in schools in the continental US. It is a private student loan with very flexible repayment rates. The Education Refinance Loan by the bank allows refinancing private student loans.

3. Harry S. Truman Scholarship

The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship awarded to students who want to enroll in graduate school. It supports students who are pursuing a career in the non-profit sector, public service, government, education, and advocacy. The program gives a strong focus on leadership development and also provides career counseling. A great advantage for students is opportunities such as internships with the Federal government. To qualify, the students must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program and must be planning to pursue a graduate program. Students are not eligible if they have completed their undergraduate degree. Some of the degree programs include Master of Public Policy, Master of Public Health, Master of Education, Master of Public Administration, and Master of Public Affairs.

4. Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship

The Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship is an award ranging from $6,000 to $20,000 for students who want to opt for advanced studies in the arts in the United States or abroad. It is a great opportunity for students in the fields of art, music, dance, architecture, theatre, landscape, theatre, or urban and regional planning. Graduates of the College of Fine and Applied Arts of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are eligible to apply as wells as graduates of similar institutions with degrees in the field of arts. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their skill and talent in the fine arts as well as other factors.

5. Forté Fellows Program

The Forté Fellows Program is a fellowship program for women who want apply for MBA programs. Applicants must submit their applications to the participating schools. Some of the schools grant part-time and executive awards but all schools grant awards to full-time students. Candidates should have the quality of team, academic, creative or community leadership and should be committed to other women and girls through community involvement. The benefits of the fellowship include exposure to top companies in the Forté network, access to the online networking community of Forté, access to the Forté Corporate Recruiter list. Students are also included in the Forté Fellow resume book.
