Moving away from manufacturing fuel-driven cars, from 2024, they will make only electric cars.
About Lotus Car Models
Emeya, Eletre, Emira, and Evija are some of Lotus’ iconic luxury car models. The Evija is their first all-electric British hypercar in 2019. In 2022, they launched Electre, their first mainstream electric SUV. The Emira will be their last petrol-driven sports car. They launched Emeya in 2024– a four-door sedan electric hypercar slated to be the fastest Grand Tourer in the world.
Overview of the Lotus Emira
Emira from Lotus is a two-seater sports car whose name means a commander or a leader. It is the last Lotus car with an internal combustion engine. All future cars after Emira will be all-electric. Sports cars, by any standard, excel in design, performance, and safety. The design of Emira is heavily influenced by Evija and guided by their new Lotus Sports Car architecture. Though the car’s design is exotic with optimized proportions, the design and engineering make it practical, functional, and suitable for everyday use.
The New Lotus Emira
The Lotus Emira is available in two trim levels – Base and First Edition. While the Base trim has many standard features, the First Edition trim is eligible for many bundled options like Lotus Driver’s Pac, track driving mode, Tour or Suspension, summer tires, Convenience Pack, and Lotus Design Pack.
Engines

The alternate engine option is a Toyota-sourced 3.5-liter supercharged V6 gasoline engine producing 400 horsepower and 317 lb. feet of torque with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. 0 to 60 mph acceleration is at 4.2 seconds.
