  • The government grants are absolutely free to apply. All a recipient has to share is their accounting details on a legit website. If anyone contacts by offering a grant for a small fee, then that individual is certainly not from the government.
  • It is always in the best interest to stay away from individuals who claim to work for the grant-related federal bureaus and departments that actually never exist. Some even provide fabricated details to make the things appear realistic.
  • Every grant from the government requires the submission of an application through a government website. Individuals who claim to offer a grant through an email or via a phone call surely are trying to scam.
  • Federal grants are strictly awarded for specific programs or projects. The grants are usually awarded to institution or organizations. An individual contacting to provide grants which can be utilized at his or her will is surely a fraud.
