  • Cold compress

You can use a cold compress as a treatment for skin rashes. You can simply do this by taking a plain cloth with ice cubes in it and place it over the affected area. If ice cubes seem inconvenient, then you can try using a cloth soaked in cold water.
  • Oatmeal bath
    Oatmeal has a moisturizing effect on the skin. Bathe in colloidal oatmeal, as it has anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore it can reduce any swelling in the affected area. Oatmeal bath is an excellent treatment serious skin diseases for psoriasis and eczema. Add oatmeal to warm water and soak the mixture for thirty minutes. Make sure you use warm water on the rash. It even helps in reducing the chances of an infection.
  • Baking soda
    Baking soda will help dry out the rash and relieve the itching. It also helps get of any inflammation. You can use this ingredient by making a mixture of water and baking soda. Use the mix on the rash and leave it on for a few minutes before washing it off. You can do this on a daily basis. You can also use baking soda effectively by mixing it with coconut oil. Apply this paste to the rash and leave it on for about five to ten minutes. Wash it off and continue the process two times a day to see results.
  • Aloe vera
    Aloe vera has several medicinal properties and is known for its soothing effect on the skin. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties. It is used to treat many skin conditions and is sure to help you get rid of your skin rashes. Applying pure aloe vera gel twice a day can minimize redness and itchiness. Take aloe vera from the aloe leaf, spread the paste on the affected area and leave it on for 20 minutes, then rinse it off with plain water. If you do not have access to fresh aloe leaves, you can find organic aloe vera gel products in the market.
  • Neem
    Also known as Azadirachta indica or Indian lilac, neem is one of the most popular medicinal plants used for treating wounds and rashes. It is still one of the most commonly used plants for healing skin rashes. It is analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antiviral. These properties make it the best medicine for skin diseases like eczema, rashes, scabies, and acne. Its antioxidant properties keep the skin from aging and promote the production of new skin cells. Heat a handful of neem leaves in water for 20 minutes and strain the water. Let it cool and soak a ball of cotton in the solution. Place this on the infected area for about 10 minutes. Repeat this process for a few days to see best results. Apart from this home remedy, you can even find herbal products like neem oils, face washes and creams.
  • Olive oil
    Olive oil is beneficial for curing skin rashes. It acts as a skin moisturizer and promotes skin renewal. The antioxidants and Vitamin E in this oil are soothing, which subside the itching sensation. You can directly apply olive oil to your skin or mix it with turmeric. Use it on your skin two to three times a day and wash it off. The anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties can help relieve the itching in no time. Coconut oil and cod liver oil can also be used to treat as skin rashes.
