Dry eyes are one of the most common problems that people face. The condition takes place when the tears in your eyes fail to provide adequate lubrication to your eyes. There are many reasons as to why the tears are inadequate. If the tears produced by the eyes lack in quality then it could also result in dry eyes.

Decreased Production of Tears
Decreased production of tears is one of the most common causes of chronic dry eye. When your eyes fail to produce the number of tears required to keep it lubricated, then you could face the problem of dry eyes.

Aging
After a certain age, your eyes will stop producing good quality tears. Also, the amount of tears produced by the eye will also decrease with time. Thus, aging is also one of the main causes of a chronic dry eye.
