With the increasing cost of college education, student loans and scholarships have become the only viable options for many students to pursue higher education. This has been especially true for students from the low-income ethnic groups such as Hispanics. Among these various scholarship grants, some have become quite well-known for being some of the largest scholarships for Hispanics. Here are some of the popular ones:

  • Goldman Sachs MBA Fellowship: This is one of the largest scholarships for Hispanics. The scholarship award is about $35,000 along with the Summer Associate salary. Once the internship is completed and the scholarship recipient accepts a full-time offer, they will get an additional amount of $40,000 along with a signing bonus of a full-time associate. This scholarship is for first-year MBA students of African American, Hispanic, Latino, and Native American ethnicity.
  • William Randolph Hearst Foundation Endowed Scholarship – SCAD: This scholarship is offered by the Savannah College of Art and Design to its full-time undergraduate minority students. The scholarship amount is nearly $16,150. To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must get a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Also, by the end of the spring quarter, the student must complete at least 45 credit hours at SCAD.
  • F. Armstrong Scholarship – Cornell College: This scholarship of approximately $12,500 is offered by Cornell College. This is an annual scholarship. It is given to students who enroll in undergraduate courses at Cornell College. Students who bring diversity to the college campus are awarded this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student needs to have excellent academic records and demonstrate exceptional potential.
  • Ralph Johnson Bunche Distinguished Graduate Scholarship: This scholarship offers a stipend of $15,000 along with a tuition remission for two years. Offered by the School of Law at Rutgers University, Newark, this scholarship is for full-time students who have a strong educational background or who belong to a culturally disadvantaged group. To be eligible for this scholarship, it will be helpful for the student to have an exceptional academic record. The scholarship amount is approximately $15,000.
