Tomato face pack for an instant glow
Tomatoes are known to add an instant glow and rejuvenate the skin. When blended together, sugar and tomato help in spot correction and make for a great instant-glow DIY face pack. Tomato contains mild acids that help in exfoliating the skin and balance the pH levels of the skin, thereby bringing out the true skin tone. Moreover, sugar also acts as an exfoliating agent and a natural scrubber that helps in boosting blood circulation, making the skin glowing and radiant.

Things you’ll need

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tomato

Procedure

  • Mash the tomato and add sugar. Mix it well.
  • Apply the mixture on your face and neck and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Lightly massage your face with your fingertips for a couple of minutes.
  • Wash your face with cool water and use a clean towel to pat dry the skin.

It is advisable to use this DIY face pack thrice a week. Moreover, it is not recommended to scrub your face daily, which can make your skin dry. Scrubbing your face twice a week can be helpful.

DIY hydration face pack

This face pack consists of cocoa, avocado, and honey. Cocoa helps in soothing the skin, avocado is known to have skin hydrating properties, and honey is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.

  • 1 quarter of an avocado
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Procedure

  • Mash the avocado and mix it well with 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon of honey.
  • Wash your face and pat dry.
  • Apply the mixture to your clean, dry skin and leave it for 10 minutes.
  • Wash your face with warm water.
  • Apply moisturizer.

Drinking 4 to 5 liters of water per day is also essential in keeping your skin hydrated and glowing.

  • Leave the pack for about 15 minutes.
  • Wash off the face pack with lukewarm water. Pat dry.
