Military Order of the Purple Heart Scholarship
This grant is available to the veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart, which is an award for the members of the armed forces who have been wounded or killed in action. The Military Order of the Purple Heart Scholarship is also available to the dependents or widows of the veterans who have been posthumously awarded the Purple Heart. The awarded amount depends on the financial need of the veterans or their dependents.

AMVET National Scholarship Program
Specially curated for the veterans who have run out of the G.I. Bill resources, the AMVET National Scholarship Program is a popular college grant option for veterans. The applicants of this program need to have been honorably discharged from their office and must be attending a qualified university, college, or technical school. In this program, the veterans will get an award of $1000 per academic year and the award is renewable for up to three years.

American Legion Scholarship
The American Legion Scholarship is offered to every veteran from the legion pursuing undergrad studies at an accredited university or college. With annual awards of $1000, the eligibility of the grant is set as per the veteran’s financial needs.

Troops to Teachers Program
Managed and directed by the Department of Defense, the Troops to Teachers Program is designed to offer financial aid to veterans who aim to pursue a degree in education or teaching. To be eligible, the applicants must comply with a term of service in a high-need community or school. Financial need and academic merit will determine the eligibility of applicants.
